Subject 01 / Grassland Ecology

Reading the open steppe as a living system.

Students observe how grassland ecology, grazing patterns, seasonal weather and human movement are connected. The field task is not only to identify plants or landforms, but to understand why grassland life requires adaptation.

MethodsObservation notes, photo evidence, guided discussion.
OutputField journal and group interpretation.
Subject 02 / Living Nomadic Culture

Herder life as cultural knowledge, not performance.

Students learn from the ordinary details of hospitality, mobility, food, animal care, craft and the rhythm of the day. The aim is to respect living culture as adaptive knowledge rather than a staged attraction.

MethodsInterview prompts, cultural comparison, reflective writing.
OutputLiving heritage reflection and visual notes.
Subject 03 / desert Restoration

Desert as a case study in resilience.

The desert allows students to discuss arid-land adaptation, restoration, tourism, local livelihoods and the tension between wilderness experience and environmental management.

MethodsSite briefing, landscape sketching, sustainability debate.
OutputGroup problem map and presentation.
